Fantastic Donuts has some of the most creative Donut art I’ve ever seen. I come far more often than I should. Potentially the most instagramable donuts in LA in my opinion.
The donuts themselves are great, a solid tasting donut, though very standard flavors and types. I would come here for an amazingly cute good traditional donut and stick with your trendier LA donut shops for your ube cereal donuts.

Quite simply, one of the best local donut shops in L.A. Fantastic styling and cook – traditional simplicity without all the overdone and exaggerated excess you see at the trendy donut fad places. Fun designs, great flavor, no clutter and junk. A must have.

These donuts are pretty…fantastic! I like the texture of the donuts. The inside filling is not too sweet. The donuts are reasonably price (see pictures). A very cool and innovative way to have a donut. I was prepared not to eat it, but I gave in cause of my love for donuts is pretty bad. I’ll be back to try other flavors!!!

There is nothing special about this place other than being a regular donut store. However, they do make some cute decorated donuts that appeal to people.
The donuts are basically plain or jelly/creme filled donuts with glaze that are decorated as animals. I admit the decoration is very creative and great for pictures but nothing more than that.
The price for the donuts is slightly higher than they would normally charge but it less than you would pay at other places like California donuts or DK donuts.
The older gentleman (not sure if he was the owner) that helped us was very nice and had a sense of humor.

Came to Fantastic Donuts specifically for the super cute animal ones that they make! And boy oh boy, they were so cute! I got here on a Saturday morning around 9:30am, they had one tray of the cute donuts out and the super nice and friendly owner explained to me that since I was early, they were still making fresh batches, so I could choose which animals and fillings I wanted and he would make them for me! How awesome!
I got the chick with cream filling, cow and pig with strawberry filling and a bluebeary (blueberry frosting) donuts. So cute, and tasty too! Generous amounts of cream and filling and not too sweet so you could just keep eating and eating and committing cute donut murder. My four donuts came to a little over $6, not too bad. Their regular donut offerings are pretty cheap too, many are under $1.
They’re open 24/7 but the animal donuts are only available Friday – Sundays, check them out on Instagram to find out more details about availability! Located in a medium sized plaza on Vermont, there’s a good sized parking lot, or parking on the side streets as well. Come get a donut, they’re so nice here!

Donuts are good, but then so are most donut shop donuts. Th reason for 3 star is because the friendliness is canceled out by the high price. Large coffee and apple fritter was $4.15, too expensive, I rather go to overpriced Starbucks and pay $1.50 more for blended coffee and chocolate croissant.
Needless to say, I won’t be returning here

Great donut spot, very friendly staff and 24 hours. I know everyone goes to California Donuts, but skip the line and go here instead – it’s right down Vermont.
