EPI-YA Boulangerie & Patisserie Reviews

Always a happy customer at EPI-YA. This place is usually packed and busy (understandably). Their bread and pastries are always fresh and delicious. You can tell while you eat that they use quality ingredients and know what they’re doing when it comes to baking. The moment you take a bite, the bread starts to melt in your mouth and is very soft and fluffy. Their savory pastries are filled with flavor, yet not too salty or overpowering. Their sweet pastries are light and just the right amount of flavor and sweetness, where you want more.

Everything is delicious! The smell inside the shop is enough to make a special visit for! Magical

Unbelievable!! Stumbled upon this amazing French bakery while driving around on vacation with my family. My kids loved the little pizza’s, ham and cheese rolls, and croissants. You walk in and you can smell the quality. Felt like I was in France. A MUST EAT!!

Saw this cute bakery with the NOW OPEN sign and decided to give it a try. I bought a loaf of raisin bread and they offer to slice it to your desired thickness. It was so soft and yummy! The kids loved their chocolate chip muffin and ther cream (custard) pastry. I will have to come by for their raisin bread again and to try their sweet and savory bakery items!

We go to this bakery almost once a week especially for the Banana chocolate Croissant.

I also liked cinnamon roll but very pricey for what it is I thought. (Overall, everything is pricey compared to the mass produced ones, of course….)

The Anpan is ok, if you prefer sweet beans to be very sweet, you will like theirs. Since the Anpan bread is already sweet, I find it is too sweet for me.

We like their wheat bread, country bread and baguette which we buy on regular basis.

Breads are baked fresh onsite and the shop has wonderful smell.

I used to buy bread at St Germain bakery and hoped that this new place offers the same quality since former St Germain employees are involved in Epi-ya. Luckily when I visited there first time, baguette was freshly out of oven but when I started eating while it was still warm, it was already dry and hard… very disappointed. Curry pan had very little curry inside. Croissant was pretty good. It’s still newly open so I am hoping that things will improve over the time.

Japanese style bakery. The white bread (family bread) is to die for. You can have it sliced your way in 1/2cm increments. Tuesday closed.

Fresh baked bread … just came out of the oven. The chocolate croissants are delicious! Can’t wait to try the custard pie … hoping it tastes just like how Dee Lite Bakery used to make!

My mom and I stopped by before shopping at Times earlier this month. We bought a raisin bread (so small and cute….perfect for my mom), couple of bags of palmiers (again, cute little size and they’re perfectly crispy throughout….better than St. Germaine), and a mini custard pie (not too sweet and the custard was soft and delicious). We will happily return and try more of their baked goods!

I was sad when Saint Germain Bakery was closed but now glad to know good quality bakery has been open!!!
