Emily’s Donuts and Café Reviews

So good! Sweet, perfect flavor, and awesome themes. Emily’s had a variety of different options, chocolate, vanilla, glazed, sugar, cinnamon, etc. So many good choices. We stopped in early in the morning during prime time donut consumption, and even though there was a little bit of a line we were in and out within minutes.

The nice woman behind the counter was very welcoming and efficient. She seemed very friendly and patient with my kids who could not decide what type of donut they wanted even after looking for 10 minutes. They did have a few seats inside if you wanted to stay and eat your deliciousness, or some outdoor seating as well. Looks like they did offer a variety of coffee drinks as well, which looked good.

They have good unique donuts if you’re looking for something outside the norm of chain donut shops. You must get there early if you want the best selection. I enjoyed the Boston Cream, Frosted Vanilla, and the variety of donut holes.

The donuts are quite tasty and different than the typical donuts that you can find at Dunkin’ or Duck. The cronuts are good and you should order these ahead so you don’t miss them. Otherwise the star item are there fritters. While we got the apple, I’m sure the blueberry would be great too. Ordering online was easy and pick up at the store was a cinch. No curbside on the day we got there, but it also seems that they do Doordash as well. Coffee was ok according to the husband. Would get donuts here again.

First off, amazing donuts hands down my favorite place to go to. However, the reason to keep going back is the service, they apologize profusely for late shipments of ingredients, help you out with selection and today… omg. I ordered a couple donuts for the family since my wife has wanted a chocolate frosted donut for a few days now. They were kind enough to throw in some extra donuts and holes! I thought I grabbed the wrong order and called them up to verify even. With the pandemic and all this gesture speaks volumes and it is appreciated greatly.

The fritters are unearthly and enough to feed a small developing nation! Donuts, cronuts, specialty pastries – you cannot go wrong with any choice you make. But the blueberry fritter will keep you coming back.

cost is higher than I’d like. couldn’t help but eat both of my expensive donuts at once ($8.85 pictured.) one on the left had kind of tough dough. usually very delicious donuts here. advertised to be open until 1pm but often sold out just after 10am. server tends to expect a tip, it’s quite unnecessary and annoying. you guys know there’s a 7/11 across the street with cheap fresh donuts? and they don’t ask for tips there? boxed coffee here too, which I’ll never buy. most expensive breakfast on merrimac by far.

Best donuts on the peninsula! Nice variety but nothing crazy. Maple bacon waffle donut today and a lavender donut. The donuts are huge and the flavor can’t be beat. You won’t regret it

These donuts are SO GOOD!! We got there shortly after 6am, and I was blown away by the variety and the staff member that helped us was so sweet and helpful. I ended up ordering a whole dozen knowing dang well I had no business ordering that many, but I wanted to try as many as I could! The PB&J was probably my favorite, but there was not a single donut in the box that I did not like. Also ordered a vanilla Iced Coffee and it was delicious and refreshing… just what I needed to get my day going. Will definitely be back!!

The donuts here are so tasty! They are dense with just the perfect amount of frosting.

There were tons of different options when we went in- maple bacon, key lime pie, salted caramel and strawberry to name just a few.

One donut left me full and happy that I stopped here! Although it was hard to pick just one donut here.

Surprisingly delicious. They are super fresh and have a yummy light yeasty taste. All the flavors actually taste real like strawberry, vanilla, caramel. Def recommend if you’re in the market for some yummy doughnuts. We ordered a bunch and cut them up for everyone to have a taste (hence lack of photos. Sorry!!). We were all extremely happy with taste, texture cream ratio (if applied.).
Coming back will be a treat!
