Doughchii Mochi is great. So glad we don’t have to go all the way to the bay area for mochi donuts. The donuts are always fresh and the workers are always welcoming and helpful. I think the only thing they can improve is the order ahead website. I want to try the different milk teas but they don’t all have full descriptions. I was a bit confused about sweetness level last time I ordered a tea also. Otherwise, great donuts and nice people.

Haven’t had a mochi donut since getting back from Japan! If you’ve never tried one, they’re worth a taste. The main difference is the texture, which is more chewy, but otherwise the flavor will be familiar.
Doughchii Mochi seems to rotate flavors throughout the week, so I snagged a cream cheese churro and a maple bacon donut. Awesome flavors. It’s a nice little shop that really adds to Salida’s main street.
They’re only open on weekends though, so grab them when you can!

Flavors vary from week to week but they have a nice mochi donut compared to other bakeries I’ve been to. Consistency is right. Flavors are not overly sweet.

Very interesting. I’ve never had mochi donuts and I loved them. They had 6 flavors and tried them all. Very good. They also make Ube flavor but did not have them this time so I’ll have to try them next time. You gotta try’em.

Next time your ATM/Credit is not working, try telling the customer before they order. Sad this was my first experience in your store. I won’t be back.
