Donutville U.S.A. Reviews

I was craving some donuts and stopped by the “NAME” brand donut shop who did not have any stock made up yet. If I was the owner I’d be trying to make money during the day. Strange concept right? Anyway, I Googled a donut shop close to me and Donutville came up. The donuts are very good, but a bit pricey (I think). I got a half dozen for over $7.00 plus tax, and I think that’s a bit high. But, as I said, they taste very good so cudos for that. They have a huge parking area and are handicap accessible. Masks are optional at this time.

Good donuts, with that being said….I read previous reviews. Where the rude-ish service is mentioned. It is real. To the point where I think it’s instructed like a theme restaurant.

I asked the worker about what type of fritters were in the case. They really acted as if they didn’t want to tell me. Then I asked could I have a specific one in the case and they just gave me a different random fritter. In retrospect that was my mistake I should have stayed in my lane.

Good donuts. Don’t ask questions. Know what you want. If you are visiting ask someone who is local before you go or just go in with confidence because it doesn’t seem like the type of place where you can spend the time to browse.

I was told about this donut shop (rave reviews) and looked forward to visiting with great anticipation. I drove from Ann Arbor on a Sunday morning. The donuts and coffee were fine. The staff member that “helped” me was disinterested and could care less. She was not welcoming and her attitude was poor. Overall my experience was marginal…. ‍♂️

This was me and my spouse first time visiting Donutville and their donuts are great, they taste really good. I really like their apple spice donut, it has apple filling with tiny apple pieces it tastes just like apple pie. My spouse likes their chocolate donuts. They have a huge chunky apple fritter we saw that looked delicious. Next time we visit them me and my spouse plan on getting two apple fritters just to see if they’re the original apple fritter donut shops use to make 10 or more years ago. Lately most donut shops don’t make their apple fritters with a lot of apple pieces inside. They’ve been making them with a little amount of apple pieces inside. But their fritter at the Donutville was nice and chunky so me and my spouse can’t wait until we go again.

Good donut shop good coffee but lately I’ve been coming here and they’re always closed seems like the owner has trouble keeping staff at night. If you wanna stay open 24 hours pay your workers better this aint the 90s. times are changing. And cost living went up.

I went here for the great reviews of “the best coffee in town”. Tasted like gas station coffee at best. I agree with the other reviews that the lady behind the counter seemed totally disinterested. Many of the shelves looked empty and there wasn’t a big variety of donuts. However the one positive is that the donuts we did choose were good. But I would not come here again. If your from out of town and pass this place and read the good reviews, don’t believe them. It was between Dunkin and this place and I specifically chose here because of the reviews. Wish I stuck with Dunkin. The 2 stars are for the donuts. The missing 3 are for the service and not so great coffee.

Donuts are delicious, made fresh, and reasonably priced. Staff are professional. Only reason I’m giving this place four stars instead of five is that the owners are very Trumpy; the few times I’ve gone there OAN (the far-right Fox News competitor) has been playing on the screen in the background. Would be nicer to have local news or something apolitical.

I bought 2 Bavarian donuts and 2 honey dipped ones, I noticed the blonde female worker put the donuts in the bag in a way where they may stick to the bag or each other. I informed her I think they’ll stick to each other the way she put them and yet she didn’t seem to care about my concern. I bring it home and here is my Bavarian donut, can’t say I’m surprised….

Been coming here for a long time. Used to be 24 hours. Always has problem with staff, always closed. Save your time if you work early mornings or late nights. Tim Hortons on Warren and Wyoming 2 miles down the road. is 24 hours and they offer sit down.
