Went in on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised by selection. Sugar donut was light and fluffy with a hit of cinnamon, and the Sausage and cheese crossiant ( though not like a traditional French butter crossiant) was a tasty savory bite.

“The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa” is a sculpture by Bernini, depicting an angel with an arrow of divine love piercing the titular nuns heart. As the title implies, Saint Teresa is in a state of ecstasy at this interaction with the divine, an emotion that Bernini exquisitely captures in her facial expressions.
While it may be difficult to get to Rome to see this wonderful piece of art, you might get lucky and see me recreating it at Donut World as I bite into a fresh apple fritter. Truly magnificent.

Donuts are extremely delicious, nice employees but within the last 6 months or longer they seem to always be sold out. Very frustrating when you drive 10-15 minutes early in day and they are already sold out. Not once. Not twice…multiple times. I went today at 1:15 and they were sold out of the kind I like. Like the other recent review, I went two other times and a sold out sign was on the door and they closed way early. I would understand being sold out late in the day but they don’t close until 8pm. I have complained several times thinking it would help but after today I had to write a review letting other know you may want to call first. Get it together Donut World!!

Their Buttermilk and Old Fashioned Style donuts are fantastic! The buttermilk style is by far one of my favorite donuts in GSO. If you have not tried it, then you simply must. They are my go to cheat day snack. I like to dip their apple fritters in my coffee.

After the chain donut store down the street wasn’t able to sell anyone donuts due to laziness I went here. Donuts were just as good, if not better. The lady working had a big smile on her face and gave us what we were looking for quickly. I will be returning here from now on. Happy to support the small, local business.
