Get there before 10 for the freshest donuts you HAVE to pull over to eat! Superb! Would have been 5 stars but second dozen may have day-olds but still, TOOOOOO good!!

Absolutely superb classic donuts! Cooked to perfection with just the right amount of glazing. Nice variety of types and flavors. I’ve tried most and all have been great. Humble and unassuming shop, but the staff are welcoming and the donuts are exceptional.

I’ve traveled all over the US to different donut shops and the Donut Nook is by far impressed me the most. I had several different donuts here but the maple glaze with bacon was absolutely the best!! Donut Nook has been around since the 1970’s which should tell you they must be doing something perfect everyday!

Skip the Mr. Maple donut chain and try a very unique and truly classic donut shop. Can’t wait for our next visit to the Vancover area for a one of a kind donut experience!

Best donuts in Vancouver by far, these are made with love. One tip is that you will need to come in early to make sure they still have stock. This place has been a Vancouver staple since I was a kid. Wish they still had the pumpkin spice donut. I will try next year. As many from Portland have seen, Vancouver is a strange place, where nook is king. The decor inside the building reminds me of being a child in Vancouver, old school roots.

This is one of the ‘better’ donut places around here. Krispy Kreme is okay, but nowhere near the quality of small batch craft donut joints so if you’ve been to the popular chains like Anne’s, Dungeon, Dots, or Tonellis, then you won’t be disappointed with Donut Nook. Come for the Bearclaws, but stay for the other donuts. In fact, just come for the bearclaws because they are legendary. Honestly I have never had a better one, anywhere.

Wish we had them in Austin! You can tell all of these donuts are made from scratch and loved! Cool joint!

Can I give this place 10 stars? The Donut Nook is consistently delicious! My favorite is the Cherry fritter. Love the retro atmosphere! Will always choose this as my favorite donut shop stop!

The Donut Nook is a special part of my childhood. My dad brought me here so I could experience my first chocolate sprinkle donut in 1983. I was hooked. Every summer we would scrounge up some change from beneath our sofa cushions and ride our bikes to this neighborhood staple to buy a tasty treat.

Over the years, the quality taste of the Donut Nook has never changed. This is a community staple. Conversations are always engaging. One of the last places you can talk to a stranger and become neighbors. These donuts are made with love. The service is always friendly and for a few minutes I feel the weight of the world melt off of me. Throughout several moves, job transfers and life events, I always come back to this Minnehaha gem and know that the donuts and the service will always be the EXACT same way I left them.

To the owners of the Donut Nook,
Thank you for providing a place where community can gather-especially for those of us born and raised in Minnehaha. You have created life long customers.

Tip: Try the Cherry Fritter with a Cup of Coffee

For The More Traditional:
Best Maple Bars, Apple Fritters, Old Fashions and Chocolate Bars

My favorite place for donuts in Vancouver, WA. Get them early, get them fresh! Cinammon crumble is my personal favorite, but they are all good.
