Always GREAT SERVICE our favorite donut place. In a household of 6 it’s hard to agree on any one thing, but this is it. Not only is the service excellent the donuts are soooo good and fresh and Big! I’m just a huge fan lol I absolutely recommend Donut Cutter. 🙂 Oh, they also have macaroons our youngest daughter loves them!

One of my favorite places to go since moving to Royal Oak. Open early. Always nice and professional. And honestly…. probably hands down the best donuts I’ve ever had. I can’t leave the parking lot without at least taking a bite…which usually results in one less donut lol

stopped at Donut Cutter on Woodward in Royal Oak Michigan donuts for clients means one for me. Voted #1 in the area. Great donuts

THE best place for donuts, hands down. The specialty donuts are always interesting and delicious as are the traditional offerings you’d expect. The service is friendly and you just cannot beat the quality and taste. Was cash only until recently . I recommend cash as they do need to charge a service fee in credit cards.

Delicious donuts and friendly people! Don’t let the looks of the establishment dissuade you. Every effort is spent on making GREAT donuts!

Probably one of, if not the best old school donut shops around. No fancy gimmicky donuts here, just the classics we grew up with, done well. Super fresh too. The prices are pretty steep though, otherwise I’d give 5 stars. $1.75 a donut and they’re pretty small. That price adds up real fast.

Tracy, Lan and their daughters work so hard, and it shows in the perfection of their donuts. I will stop at any small/local donut shop, in a quest for the best plain glazed donut. This is the only one that suits my yeast forward flavor preference. They NEVER leave any trace of fat coating the roof of my mouth, or have the taste of old fryer fat, like carnival food. Donut Cutter makes the best, most traditional, true to flavor donuts around, cake donuts included! Support this local family business while sharing the donuts I can never stop raving about.

2.5 stars. I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews, but it was just ok. The cinnamon roll donut was tasty. The plain glazed looked anemic and wasn’t very flavorful. The apple fritter was quite bland. On top of that, the prices are HIGH, plus there’s a 4% upcharge if you use a debit/credit card.
Overall, this place is a better choice than somewhere like Dunkin, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop here. There are better local donut shops in the area.

During this pandemic, they make it a point to keep a couple of people in the shop at a time. Which is appreciated. Professional and fast. Donuts were good. Old fashioned donuts. A little on the sweet side.. but that was based on what I chose. Would visit again.

I mean, I’ve never had a bad donut here in my life. Always consistent, always busy and always friendly. That’s all that needs to be said! ☺️ But get your donuts here and get there early!
