Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken Reviews

I was in town and hoping to find some gluten free donuts so I could still have the full Chicago experience, and Do-Rite did not disappoint! It has been 9 years since I’ve had a real donut and I was in heaven at the first bite. I even went to two different locations the following days because I couldn’t resist indulging in some more heavenly donuts. I’m sure the rest of their stuff is equally as delicious, but if you’re looking for gluten free options this is your place! They do sell out quickly though, so either plan to go early in the day or call in advance and ask to put them aside.

I arrived to this downtown location early morning June 10th, 2021 in search of a quick, yummy eat. This was my 3x try of Do-Rite however the first at this location. I was let down by the limited options available when I came however they had what I had come for – the maple bacon donut I also had the blueberry. Both were fine however the icing was very much which impacted the overall donut eating experience …I tasted more sugar than anything

Fun donuts and good coffee drinks. The breakfast sandwiches are pretty good also. Easy order, friendly staff, and quick service made for a favorable trip. Breakfast sandwiches have mayo, which kinda made it weird – skip the mayo on your sandwich.

Hands down my favorite donut place in Chicago! Me and my coworkers would get a dozen Evey week and they’ll be gone in minutes! The bacon one is a must try. Their donuts were so soft and fluffy it’s perfect!

Where else can you have an egg sandwich on a donut…yes please. It was delicious but I would order sandwich w/o mayo since it makes the sandwich too wet to hold up. Had the pistachio lemon donut and it was tasty with ample amount of pistachios.

A great place for a quick, hearty bite to eat. Our group had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, a chicken sausage egg and cheese sandwich, a maple bacon donut, a birthday cake donut, an apple fritter, plus juice and coffee. The food was really great for a quick service place. The fresh brioche buns were so soft and the donuts were incredibly fluffy. Definitely don’t hesitate to stop in and try Do-Rite’s, they’ll do you right!

This is probably the best donut I’ve ever had. I went gluten free 8 years ago after it started hurting my stomach, and this donut blew my mind. I was like “how is this even gluten free”. If the GF donuts are this good, then the normal donuts must be even better, although it’s hard to imagine.

Whether you are GF or not, you have to try these donuts! The GF ones are pretty big too.

This is hands down the best fast service breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The Vera Cruz is incredibly tasty and unique to any other place I’ve been to. Everything tastes so fresh, it’s hard to believe it’s coming from a donut shop. I just started working across the street from the Willis Tower and I found my go-to place probably 2-3 times a week. It’s seriously that good. Plus this cayenne hot sauce they use called Woodfords?!?! Amazing! I want to try their other lunch sandwiches now as well

Best donuts in Chicago. Yay for buttermilk donuts… IMO the only ones worth eating.

You must taste one of their donuts, bacon and maple is amazing, coffee is just ok, but they bread soft and tasty, they quick to dispatch customers.
