I’ve down the neighborhood and a regular at Big Jim’s @Vermont/Melrose but was in the daily donuts zone and stopped by in the AM. Was very impressed. Very good LA donut shop. I had 1x “Simpson’s” donut and it was perfect, a Chocolate twist & some of my friend’s apple fritter which was really good, it was light and really cinnamon’y, not heavy like some spots do.

Enthusiastic and helpful staff with a great selection of quality Donuts. We had blueberry, glazed, Boston cream, chocolate peanut, vanilla sprinkles, and old fashioned maple. Cash or Venmo/zelle excepted here no cards.

They take Venmo now! So happy this family-run small business survived the pandemic. Awesome, friendly service. They have the best cake donuts. Mmmm. And they have my favorite, chocolate old fashioned. Not even Dunkin has them anymore.

The best and mist authentic donuts in LA. If they don’t come in a pink box, then they are t legit. Been coming here since I could walk! The best holes and raised donuts around.
