I’ve seen this place open forever now I just had to stop by with my Grandpa, the donuts are amazing! Soft middle & a little crunch on the outside (glazed twist, coconut cake donut, Apple fritter & lemon filled donut) I’m very pleased, the coffee (vanilla latte) was a little strong but you will be awake after drinking it hahaha, the store set up was so peaceful & a little old fashioned! I really enjoy how bright it was inside the shop, I have depression & this place was warm & happy, she even has plants!!! I’m a fan of plants, I left happier then I walked-in, the lady was so kind & sweet as well…. Update! Even my cats like her donuts

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for in a donut shop! Cake and old fashioned donuts, but they step it up with flavors I’ve never seen! Strawberry iced varieties of old fashioned or chocolate cake, whaaaaat?! The flavors are next level, and the cake on some of these is super soft. Cinnamon cake donut… so good! My dozen even had a surprise in it, maybe since it was my first visit. Worth the toll bridge pilgrimage from Gig Harbor.

Great flavor. Would I be able to say it’s the best in the area?, That all depends on how fresh they are. Mine were fresh, but not as fresh as some of the Mexican style pastry shops around our area, but as far as American style donuts, you’d be splitting hairs trying to determine the best around given any day. Go see the other listed “best”donuts comparison reviews for this vs any number of other places. I didn’t find these overly sweet. That is a plus right there. Opened about 15 minutes late. Prices are extremely reasonable.

Standing outside of Connie’s donuts right now it’s 5:39 there’s someone in there the doors are locked the hours posted say 5:30 a.m. I stopped to buy two dozen donuts for my crew and I can’t get in because they’re not open like they’re supposed to be. Can see donuts in the case coffee was brewed I saw somebody start it. There was another gentleman here who also wanted to buy donuts for his crew and he gave up and left. If this is how you do business I won’t be back I can always go to Krispy Kreme to buy donuts for my crew I’d rather have a better product but at least I know Krispy Kreme will be open when they say they will.

Great Selection, Fair Prices and Nice People! There are so many choices. Over time, I’ve tried just about all & never disappointed. Maple Bars are at least 30% more volume than competitors and taste GREAT.
Glaze Twists are as good as (better?) than the expensive Kreme donut maker, as are the standard glaze donuts. Cake donuts of all varieties are Delicious and filling. Turnovers are heavy, crunchy and satisfying, Old Fashion Donuts are delicious!
One of the oddities here is the “Krispie Bar”. I haven’t seen these anywhere else, they are VERY good. Like the Turnovers & Maple Bars, they are heavy, filling and satisfying. If it’s your first visit, recommend putting a few of these in your order. There is a nice variety of filling choices.
Coffee is hot and ready. Need a half gallon of milk on your way home? They have that as well. Strongly recommend this donut shop over all others. Stop in & grab a few, you’ll see why everybody loves this place.

Stopped by to grab birthday donuts for the spouse yesterday and there was a great selection even in the afternoon. They were also delicious. So many donuts are just way too rich. These have a nice balance of flavor/sweetness. Thanks for the excellent donuts!

I used to live across the street from Connie’s. She smells the neighborhood up wonderfully in the very early morning. Yummy! The apple fritters are the BEST I’ve ever had. The maple bars are wonderful too. The filling for the chocolate creme/Boston creme filled is so light and satisfying. Not frosting or butteryish. Just goodness. Thanks Connie! Possibly the world’s nicest donut lady. Oh and the donuts are good.
They offer espresso, regular coffee teas and she has her own specialty tea as well. Her tea is a banana leaf tea very good for you.

Donuts are delicious, although the crullers are occasionally meh. It is always a pleasant experience, donut cost is reasonable and she takes credit cards! She always smiles and welcomes everyone:) lovely place:)

Best hidden gem for donuts. She’s been around forever. Want a good donut, go here! But get there in the morning cuz she’s that good and you don’t want to miss out on the rush.
