Coco Donuts PSU Reviews

I am boycotting here because of a very rude staff. She gave me only 11 donuts for two boxes (I purchased four boxes), which was understandable. BUT when I let her know this later, she almost blamed me for not having ordered online beforehand, which made her rush to box them up. I was the only customer who was ordering at the time (8:30 am).

I am responding to the owner’s feedback below here as Google maps doesn’t allow me to comment on a previous reply in the same thread.

First of all, thanks for your feedback. BUT you should know that I DID reach out to you directly through your website the day after the incident. But you didn’t respond. That’s why I had to make a review here. I wanted you to know what happened and take some measures to prevent similar issues in the future. It was the only reason I left a review here: to make my voice heard. Also, I never wanted to get a refund. My students did enjoy the donuts and my money was worth. No need to cancel the transaction. All I needed was you attempt to have a better relationship with customers so that there is no one who feels upset like me in the future.

In fact, your comment here made me more frustrated. It seems that you don’t check consumer reports on your website, but check online reviews to maintain your reputation. Please find my messages which was sent last Friday and make sure I DID contact you through your website and find out what exactly happened. Perhaps, her version of the story is different than mine. I don’t blame for that. Everybody remembers things differently according to their involvement. Yet, you also should figure out what I felt at the moment as a customer.

Again, I chose to make a review on Google map since you didn’t get back to my message through your website. When you confirm you read this review on Google map as well as my message through your website, I will delete this online review since my goal is achieved. In addition, I believe you will do your best to make similar things not happen again. Here, by similar things, I don’t mean giving 11 donuts for a box. I mean you blame customers for not ordering online.

PS. I am not sure how you knew which transaction was mine though…?

I love donuts and came to the Saturday farmers market this week and tried to time it to go to Coco at 1pm before they closed(schedule said 2pm). We walked in and they said 4 words that broke my heart. “Sorry we are closed”. They said it was because of the holiday weekend they didn’t get enough business to stay open the last hour. That sucked.

Donuts are delicious, coffee as well. The kindness to my young daughters always makes our day

I love a good raised donut and let me tell you, these raised donuts are DELICIOUS. I am fairly picky (Blue Star is the low end of mediocre to me), but I really enjoy this place. I’ve gone twice in the last few weeks and will be going back again and again. Affordable and delicious! Cool ambiance, too.

The only place open at 6:00 am and right across from PSU. The donuts looked gorgeous, but I couldn’t have any because of my restricted diet. Barista wasn’t too chatty, but she was quick, efficient, and there!

Not to miss out on their fluffy and light weight lavender doughnuts. Awesome cafe like feel but with an elegance and great staff. All thanks to our Underground Donut Tour guy who took us to this place and we got a chance to enjoy deliciousness

Hoot-tootery, want some good doughy nuts!? Coco’s is the place to fly! Grab your significant other and bring your appetite, and thirst for some amazing coffee too! Highly recommend as you won’t find in snobby Portland friendly staff like the manager there! Genuine place to give your business.

Better than Voodoo or Blue Star. Simply the best. They know what donut should taste like. This is where you wanna go especially if you are not a big fan of excessive amount of frosting with crazy toppings, or pretentious donut names with french words. Try their signature lavender glaze on a raised donut.
