First off, they’re a cash only establishment so come prepared
My wife and I stayed across the street and hit this spot up twice during our stay for our empanada fix. Between the beef and chicken we both felt the beef was superior.
Another major plus is the fact they’re open until 12:30. Many of the restaurants in the area were closed so it’s a perfect post bar solution

Best mocha I’ve had since I’ve been in San Juan! The aguas frescas left a bit to be desired. They are syrup based. The hibiscus (flora de Jamaica) was decent, but my fresa y rosas was WAY too sweet. It has some flavor, but tasted like straight sugar. I counted, the gentleman added TEN pumps into my drink. Five would have been sufficient. I also had a glazed donut that was okay, but probably would’ve been a lot better if I ate it when it was fresh.

Nice little coffee shop in the middle of the plaza, gecko, birds, plants in a warm atmosphere. Need a little bug spray but normal to the area.

Coffee was very good and the pastries were fresh and very good too. The attendant was working by herself and there was a very long line but I decided to stay because it came recommended by other people on the line. When I got to order, the attendant was very courteous and took her time to listen to my order and recommend some of the pastries too. Very well recommended.

Hidden little coffee place with a nice green shaded area to sit and enjoy a great tasting coffee! Barista was awesome too!

Cute cash-only booth with snacks and drinks. There’s a shaded outdoor area to sit, but bring bug spray.

Literally the best coffee I have ever had. My husband and I were on vacation in PR for the first time and made this our coffee spot on the mornings we spent in Old San Juan, making multiple stops one of those days. We stopped here on the recommendation of someone from La Barrachina, and I only wish we had seen him again so that we could thank him properly.

Came with my son, brother and husband. My son visiting PR for the first time. The coffee was good; however, the service was terrible. The lady that took my order was rude and very impersonal. There was nobody behind me and she was rushing me to complete my order even though I had just been looking the menu not more than 30 seconds.
I am showing my son what is my island and how polite and wonderful is our people. Was very disappointed with the service.
